Hillcrest, South Africa
Two very special people tying the knot in South Africa – and what a wedding it was! Jade and John were both very emotional whilst exchanging their vows in a beautiful chapel situated in Camp Orchards, Hilcrest, SA. The ice was broken wonderfully for the bride and groom by a few giggles part way through – Jade’s father accidentally stood on her vail and it was pulled onto the floor. This only added to a lovely ceremony; I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight.
After the candles had been lit and the glass had been smashed (a blend of Catholic and Jewish traditions) we all left the chapel to form a pathway for Jade and John. They walked through their friends and family whilst showered with fresh petal confetti.
And this was only the beginning of their magical day. From there we then went on to see the cutting of the cake – some of which ended up on the faces of the bride and groom; hysterical speeches and lastly the very romantic first dance.
Laughter and dancing ended a day I will never forget, which I’m positive will be the same for Jade and John.
